Nikki McClure creates complex, yet natural designs by cutting away from a single piece of black construction paper with an x-acto knife. The process is delicate and time-consuming, and the end result is something to treasure.


Printed on 100% Recycled, 100% Post-Consumer Waste, Processed Chlorine Free paper that was manufactured with electricity that is offset with Green-certified renewable energy. Printed with Soy-based inks by a small family-owned press in Portland, Oregon.

NIkki used only an X-acto knife, and cuts out her images from a single sheet of black construction paper -- creating a bold language that translates the complex poetry of motherhood, nature, and activism into a simple and endearing picture.
