Well, it depends on what you're working on as an editor. Yeah, you definitely won't have as much freedom as you do working on your own stuff. Realized I can't install FCP on other people's computer anyway. It's an upgrade so you have to register it more or less.

thanks for the offer! but i have a real shitty pc which is why i went with adobe cs4. im not really sure if i want fcp or avid cuz im not sure if im cut out for industry work. at the moment i have complete control over how all the lil videos i make look, and i really like that freedom. im not sure how the industry works but something tells me that doesnt apply...
