I don't know how Volvos are these days in terms of reliability, but I still see a lot of Volvo 740 wagons chugging around. I could see myself driving a Volvo one day and I think they look really nice

friend of mine is currently on a Volvo lease. forgot which model. but it's a relatively nice car.. with lots of quality control issues.

and i think the new Volvo cars are really ugly. my faves are the old 740 turbo sedan and wagon, in terms of looks.

I used to think of them as being almost luxury cars, but they look really low end these days.

yeah, Ford did a good job of diluting the Volvo brand. really, all they wanted was the technology/engineers from Volvo. and Ford is actually producing decent cars now as a result. now that some chinese company owns Volvo, i think they're doomed.
