I think all the trailers are done. We'll probably just get more tv spots but I don't see them doing another trailer. They might showcase something at Comic Con since there is a panel and CC is a week before it comes out. Also how funny is this. According to IMdB, Nolan is tagged as writing the REBOOT to Batman scheduled for 2015 I think they're taking this reboot thing too far, then if you do think about it it is 10 years after batman begins but still, SMH.

If that's the case, then the publicity firm's doing a shit job at promoting it with those trailers alone.

Good write up on possible story line

http://comicbook.com/blog/2012/06/01...o-dead-heroes/

Also from what I've gathered this is gonna teeter at about the 3 hour mark. Reports of people being reduced to tears maybe greatly exaggerated but possible.

Woah, more fuel to the Azreal/JGL fire is this pic of the toy line for the film. Seems there's a new Bat figure. I'll take this w/a grain of salt as there are always multiple versions of Bat toys but who knows.

I find it sadlarious that the "conclusion to the Dark Knight legend" features Bane as the villain, and not the J-Man.

I never found Bane interesting as a character. He's supposedly this criminal mastermind who also happens to take steroids. Big whoop.

Knightfall, Knightquest, and KnightsEnd were just meh as well.

Of course, Warner Brothers will probably just reboot the series 5 or so years from now to squeeze more dollars out of the franchise (see Sony and Spiderman).

My advice to everyone: Save your money and just pirate this flick.

These are the moments where I'm glad not to be neck-deep in knowledge of comic book lore (I fell out of reading the Batman books around the time Bane was a major bad guy). It gets in the way of objectivity viewing a movie.

To be reductive, it's still about dudes in spandex beating the crap out of each other with some gravitas added to spice things up.

That being said...

I am enjoying the storyline on the Court of Owls right now happening in the Bat books.

Wow thats terrible right there bruh.

I see your point as to having the most pinnacle Bat villain to end the trilogy but that die was cast. TDK gave us the probably the best Joker on film to date. He pushed Bats mentally and to an emotional brink by not only killing his closest friend, but also taking away his hope of retiring. He gave bats A run for his money with Bats prevailing.

The Knightfall/Quest/End story lines might have been enh, but the significance of what they did to the Bat history and the characters it produced was epic.

Bane a criminal mastermind who takes steroids. Yeah that's the cover but the in depth was better. When you think of the Bat-villains deep down none of them really wanted to kill or eliminate Batman. If he was to be out of the picture, their existence would be meaningless. In their psychotic way they torture batman just enough but never with an intention to eradicate him. Bane on the other hand really wanted nothing more than to destroy Batman plain and simple and take Gotham.

Bane scoffed at the mystique that is the Batman, comes in not scared of him and triumphs. Beats and breaks the Bat.

This is the first time that Batman will be physically challenged, something he hasn't been. Plain thugs are nothing to him, but a trained killer? Without the fancy tech? C'mon son.

First off, I'm not here to change anyone's mind, just airing out some opinions. That said...

What? That I would pirate this movie and encourage people to do the same? Dude, I haven't paid for any type of media in 6 years. I've got 6 terabytes of 1080p movies and TV shows, 2 terabytes of comic books, and 1 terabyte of tunes in FLAC. Paying for media is for chumps, IMHO. Join the Dark Side, bro.

I mean, why would I want to pay $21 for some IMAX flick, when I can be comfortable at home 94 inches away from my 60-inch backlit LED screen, with my popcorn and double IPA in my hand? Why would I want to be in a crowded theater with a bunch of people I don't know, I don't like, and who make me want to vomit in my mouth because I think they are all idiots?

Oh, I understand why the Joker couldn't end the trilogy. But Bane? Really? Why not Poison Ivy? Why not the Riddler? Why not Two-Face? Oh right, Nolan wasted a perfectly good Bat-villian in TDK.

Explain, please. Because other than Azrael -- whom, I must point out, was created BEFORE Knightfall -- I can't recall another character spawned from those three storyarcs. And in what significant way has Batman and his history been affected by those storyarcs, other than the fact the he had his back broken? In what significant way has the outcome of those events trickled down into the Bat titles today? Has it made Bruce more aware of his mortality? Does he go to physical therapy every Wednesday? Does he have nightmares of Bane?

But see, Bane didn't kill the Batman. He just broke his back. If he was smart, he would have broke his fucking neck.

What? Ra's al Ghul and the League of Shadows weren't trained killers?
