surrs.

another funny moment (classmate facilitated) was when that above "wherefore art thou" scene was going, some dude dropped the "now THAT'S a titteh!" line, and we all started cracking up. good times.

The flashback scene in Fragments when Dakota Fanning sees her dad piss in his pants before he gets shot.

In Prometheus, when Shaw puts David's severed head in a bag and apologizes.

well for the first time ever i watched this weekend meet joe black. never saw this movie well cause when it came out i had just lost my father in a airplane crash and my husband and then boyfriend thought it best to not watch it with me cause during that time in my life i was very serious and had a big wound in my heart and could be reminded of that pain in the drop of a hat if something vaguely reminded me of my dad passing, (aww isn't he sweet and thoughtful)
so i never gave it any interest.
so low and behold this weekend on netflix i saw it on there and was like, "hey i remember hearing about this movie back in the day why hadn't i ever watched it?" pretty star studded cast..
now time doesn't heal all wounds but it does provide a nice thick band-aid to help with daily life with time.

so we watched it together which my husband then tells me why we never ever watched it together
i was fine ofcourse i loved the witty humor in it and seriousness in it.

but so it boils down to the last scene.
Death has fallen in love he plans on taking anthony hopkins daughter with him when he leaves for where ever death goes while he is on the job and take the soul of anthony along with his daughters. anthony pleads with him to tell his daughter the truth of who he is and not be so selfish. to tell her the truth see if after all that she still is in love him bear his soul if you will.
So brad pitt is doing this and she is apprehensive and doesn't clearly understand.
So she decides to stay but is heartbroken that this so called man she has fallen head over heels for is about to leave her for no good reason that he can divulge except that he has to go. brad pitt decides not to tell her all the way but shes a smart cookie and figures it out. As she processes all this she looks up at death with eyes glistening like a doe's and pleads death to "tell me you love you now!" knowing very well she will never see him or her father again.
and death say's
" i love you now"
i cracked up wildly...
he goes on to tell her he will love her now tomorrow... yadda yadda yadda
and my husband looks at me like i'm an insensitive jerk with no heart at all.
but i still find it very very funny. he starts laughing too of course about me laughing. He was like that was a very endearing heart wrenching scene mang your messed up :P

Much as I enjoyed Prometheus, the parts starting where David gets his head severed made me imagine the rest of the film like a Futurama episode. Needless to say, I found myself laughing quite a bit.

Never saw Meet Joe Black but there was a brief moment when I totally had the hots for Claire Forlani...

If I recall correctly that movie would have been a colossal bomb but was one of the first movies that had an exclusive trailer that a bunch of fanboys went to see.
