Every time I go to NYC my diet goes to complete Hell, this past weekend was no different. I think I'm gonna hafta go vegetarian for the next week to detox.

In other news, I'm shooting to back squat 200 lbs. by the middle of the month - it's that magic "TWO hundred" number again Wish me luck.

Gained so much weight at the last two jobs. Again, I blame Forks over Knives!

Going to try to concentrate on losing some of this weight during my time off.

When they talk about aging it's kinda sad. A lot these olympic sports, there's such a tiny window for you to really kick ass and then it's all over for you. Find a day job, start coaching, whatever.

Tonight was the night I was gonna squat 200. Didn't happen, stalled at 195. Will try again on Sunday.

^ Apparently I am most like a Dane aged 30-44. How could this be? I've never even been to Denmark!

In other news...

Punched out four back-squat reps with 200 lbs sitting on my shoulders. Yay, me! Tried for a golden fifth rep but couldn't do it, just didn't have enough strength for one final push.
