I downloaded a free app called Light Meter. If any of you are bored and have an iPhone, how accurate do you think it is? It kind of saved my ass at my brother's wedding. Without it I would have been guessing when I went into Manual Movie mode. There is no aperture priority mode in video, so in order to get shallow depth of field beauty shots I used this app to set the shutter speed. But I felt like it consistently gave speeds that were a bit too overexposed.

^ I did. Speaking of finding the proper exposure, I accidentally deleted Magic Lantern from one of my memory cards. Shit. They have some extra tools in there to find proper levels.

Canon EOS M mirrorless camera, $800. and for $200 you can get an adapter that lets you use EF lenses.

i'll wait until the next revision. who knows how good the first line is.

hopefully the adapter isn't just mechanical. would hate to miss out on autofocus or autoexposure connections.

yeah, it looks pretty cool. if the price drops low enough, i might be interested. i'm pretty happy with my Canon S100. just wish the focusing was faster.

amazon has the kit and all lenses/accessories on pre-order also. kinda wondering if the price will drop much in a few months.
