i kinda wanna go see blondie in february. on one hand, i've never seen them before. on the other hand, it's been 20-25 years since they've done anything worthwhile. i still love all that old stuff, however. parallel lines and eat to the beat are near perfection to my ears....but i dunno, should i go?

Just found out that David Byrne will be playing songs that he worked on with Brian Eno at Beneroya Hall in Seattle on February. I may have to look into this.

Just finished seeing Oasis with Ryan Adams & the Cardinals. Good show seemed a little too textbook, Does Liam always pose around? They did a nice version of I am the Walrus.

Finished seeing Nine Inch Nails. The concert was outstanding and the visuals were excellent. Last show of the tour. They had a total of three vid walls and the best light show this side of Pink Floyd w/o the lasers. The stealth video screens as mention in Wired Magazine and another bot was a real visual jolt. Other NIN news, Trent mentioned that after this concert the drummer and keyboard player were leaving, and after the AUS tour he might retire(unlikely I think).

wooohooo! and they're weekend dates! the last time i saw shellac the bassist jumped off stage mid-song and yanked a recorder out of the hands of a guy who was in the middle of the audience. that was kinda gnarly.
