Just seen Aaron Lewis of Staind at Rain @ the Palms Hotel. Cool show all accoustic played songs from Stained and covers most were very good. Comfortly Numb(Pink Floyd),Piano Man(Billy Joel), Patience(GnR), MLK(U2), Rooster(Alice in Chains), Release(Pearl Jam), Rainbow Connection(Kermit the Frog..Partial), Beetle(Howard Stern Show), Yesterday(Beatles), ? (Black Sabath)...
Great overall show, bad venue, can't stand concerts @ the Palms Hotel

Heh. Perhaps you're thinking of Mahler's 2nd, 3rd or 8th? Ain't no chorus (nor voices for that matter) in Mahler 9, son. And the Mothership did indeed land with only a few nail-biting intonational moments. My trusty annotated score, complete with analysis from way back when, served me well and made for an interesting pre-concert chat.

my old boss's band Thrillride are playing at the end of the month....

my friend's band Adorea are playing in early feb. and the motherfucking Hope Conspiracy are BACK and playing a fucking comeback show like a week later....

Strike Anywhere and With Honor are playing in March....

and i am still unemployed and live at home. how i hate my life.
