If you're gonna get one of those ultra-trendy "coupe" SUVs, why not the LandRover LRX. Probably won't be as realible as the Infiniti EX, but it's supposed to be ready in 2010.

And isn't the BMW X6 supposed to be a "coupe" SUV as well?

Our CEO replaced his ?? Camaro (I don't recall how old it was) with an 07 Corvette. In red. Looks nice. He said he got it up to 130 then chickened out (speedo goes to 190-something).

Somebody parked his Ford Edge crossover on my street over the long weekend. Here is why "Edge" is a stupid name for this vehicle:

1. If you want to make something sound cool and boundary-pushing, you don't give it a mundane name like "Edge."
2. Have you seen the vehicle itself? It's filled with soft, rounded corners. Not a single pointy edge on it.

That is all.

Yeah even the Base C6 Vette will still do 160-175 mph

I like it.

I would be such a bastard if I drove that thing.

I think when compared to Ford's previous jellybean styling efforts (ie. the Ford Taurus), the "Edge" is applicable.

So I had a driving mishap and my front left tire rim got dented, and there's a slight bubbling of the tire I think.

How dangerous is this?

the bubbling is usually from when the tire exceeds its speed rating, or gets too hot, or otherwise exceeds operating paramters. Don't know how immediately dangerous this is, but you should go ahead and get a new tire.

Was it the cougar that had extreme edges on it? I forget.

If you had a mishap that was bad enough to dent the wheel, I'd be more worried about the steering. Especially if you drive a front wheel drive car.

If it is a bubble the tire is coming apart from the inside the carcass. Its unknown the extent of the damage but as said its better to get it looked at/or replaced as well as the wheel, if its dented and you do any hard turns or hit any more sharp bumps you can also lose tire pressure.

If you're paranoid you can put on the spare if you got one.

^ Spare's a donut tire. I think it will hold until Saturday. Not planning on doing a ton of driving.
