^ Did you hear that one, Puppy? It was about a guy who became an award winning journalist while doing time for murder.

renting a Nissan Cube for the weekend. pretty roomy inside. offers some good utility with the rear seats folded down.

but lacks power/kick. i'm sure a manual transmission would help a little. cheap interior plastics. huge/awkward doors, makes it challenging to get in and out of the car. huge and almost flat side windows creates a lot of reflection/glare, kinda annoying.

A Cube would be cool to check out for a day.

What's a good way to safely remove tree sap off of my car without any further damage to my paint job?

^go to the auto parts store. they sell cleaners specifically to remove tree sap and road tar from your car's paint.

Did yours have that patch of pubes (er, carpet) on the dash, too? When I had a Cube as a loaner from the dealership recently, mine did.

I agree that it's completely gutless, too.

not sure how it works on paint though. whatever you use, test on a small part first...in case it takes everything off.

lol. mine didn't come with the pubes. there's a slight dip/bowl in the middle of the dash. i think that's where the potpourri goes. the Cube is ok, but i think the Scion xB would be my choice of boxy econo cars.

I'd be hard press to choose one of the boxy cars, the Cube looks the best to me over the XB, Soul and Element. The new XB's soft shape and crappy dash layout are deal breakers.
