I have a soft spot for Volvos, because I learned to drive in my dad's standard-issue-in-the-suburbs 740 sedan. I like the way Volvos look these days, especially the new C60 hatchback. Their designers took the company's "box on wheels" image to heart and started drawing cars with all sorts of weird scalloped edges and darts.
It's just too bad that Volvo has never been able to fix their reliability issues. Otherwise, I might buy one. My dad's 740 was constantly in the shop. His wonky turbo may have put our mechanic's kid through college.

Agreed its kinda meh for a super car status. Looked OK as a convertible in the Avengers though.

I gotta stop looking at ads for used Porsche 911s and spend more time reading bulletin board threads about failed rear main seals, failed intermediate shaft bearings, cracks in the head/cylinder liners, etc.
When will I grow up?

Yup. They're not the fastest, the most powerful, or cheap to maintain. But, there's just something about them.
Some of my friends say I should just get a Boxster. But, it's not the same.
