Okay, I'm trying to download my AIM account onto my computer here at home, and all that pops up when I get to the final steps is a screen with the image thing that looks like a square, triangle and circle. WTF? Any ideas?

But seriously, I am so glad I went with it over the sonata. Its $99.00 plus shipping, direct from Antec's web site. Its very similar, but they've tweaked the interior just enough to make it easier to add a front fan, it doesn't have the weird Antec writing (using holes in the case) on the sides, and some other stuff I can't remember right now.

so what's wrong with it?
i checked out the website.. the player looks pretty. but pretty usually means bloated. did it leave behind some adware or something?

if you're looking for a multi-player, you should check out..

WinAmp 5.. handles just about all media formats. audio and video formats, that is. i use it all the time. and you can use the SpinAmp plug-in and get the Netscape/Spinner internet radio streams.

Real Audio.. i don't what's it's called now. it was called Real One a few months ago. but now it's Real Gold or something like that. it's ok. but the message center thing is really annoying. and it has the tendency to hijack your file associations.

Media Monkey.. it's not too bad. i used it for a while but it runs kinda slow on my P3.

Jet Audio.. another program that ain't too bad. i thought the alarm clock feature was kinda cool. but other than that, it's nothing fantastic.

"my first domain" ™pLaYsKoOl

Using cPanel X,

How does a person set up content to load on the main page (like: www.sitedomain.net )

I have /index.html and /main, etc...

But I can't find the option to set content to the main page when someone types in JUST my domain. Also redirecting to /main just causes: www.sitedomain.net/mainmainmainmainmainmain...

doy. my first real site.

is that in the "open with" section?

open up regedit...HKCR\.mp3\OpenWithList\

remove what you don't want.

Here's a tip.
Create a save point before you install any questionable software.
If you hate the software, just revert back. No uninstalling or any of that stuff.

I started running Fedora desktop at work. Anyone have any cool linux desktop programs for me to play with?

yeah, Stryfe is right. those context menus are registry entries that you have to delete. it's not too hard. you can just open regedit, search for the text string, and then delete the entry.
