Not sure how much the P183 was on newegg yesterday, but it's 129.99 after rebate now. It's not the cheapest I've seen it, but it's not a bad price for a great case that you'll get a lot out of.
The LIAN LI PC-7FN looks pretty good too and not a bad deal at $100 after rebate: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-249-_-Product ![]() ![]() some things of note: aluminum case vented floor for PSU intake tool-less design good cable management opening in side panel for easy access to HSF mounting hardware Last edited by lupine; 03-21-2010 at 12:27 PM. |

the software will make it easier for you to have a synced copy. if you were to manually back-up files, you'd have to keep track of not only new files, but modified files as well. back-up or syncing software will handle that for you.

So I decided to splurge.
I went w/ the P183 but I got it through Amazon. $148 total. It was about $5 more than newegg because of no tax but I don't have to deal w/ any rebates. I also ordered the Intel 80GB SSD from Amazon. Should have ordered it yesterday but it's backordered now. Hopefully they'll get it in stock soon.

what type of 120 fans is everyone using? I got these thermaltakes from radio shake in a hurry one day but they sound like an airport. I need to buy new ones but all my research basically says the louder they are they more air they push.
I'm not OC'ing so I don't think my cooling needs are that hefty. |

well, a large fan can push the same amount of air (or more) as a smaller fan, but at a slower speed. so the end result is less noise.
my Antec case came with 3 Antec fans. 2 x 92mm in the front, sucks air in and cools the hard drives. and 1 x 120mm in the back to suck hot air out. all 3 fans have a switch for speed control. i have all of them set at the low speed. supposedly Panaflow fans are the quietest. but they're pricey. |
