unfortunately, i don't think they make these anymore. can you tell me what its exact name is?

their web site lists a usb adaptor for gamepads, but from the photo, it wouldn't work w/ a ps2 game pad.

i bought a joybox, but the thing refuses to work...

yet i know people have set it up: usb adaptor, ps2 pad, kawaks -- and it worked.

well, kawaks and nebula both don't seem to have options for changing configs. there's a key dialog thing but it only lets you substitute another key on the *keyboard* for the keyboard key you had previously. pretty annoying... mame version 061b doesn't seem to have anything either... unless i just don't know how to get to it... i mean, aren't those the most well-known emulators?

this really bites.

howdy all.

i'm running winxp pro, and would like to transfer my OS partition from an older drive to a newer one.

tried ghost 2002, and partition magic. i can copy the partition okay from one to another using either program just fine. however, when i remove the old drive, and replace it with the new drive, i get some sort of XP authentication error, and am told to reboot.

rebooted to safe mode, tried to login (both as a regular user, 'super' user, and admin), but couldn't get past the login dialogue box. it'd seem to take my password, and then spit me right out to the login box.

i have a feeling that i'm going to have to use sysprep, but i'm not too familiar with it's usage yet, and am a bit wary to use it.

you didn't have to worry about SIDs, or is that only when you clone a box?

is there a way to run full-screen games from a smaller window? i know there must be a simple, basic way to do this but i can't figure it out. unlike emulators (w/ or w/out frontends, as the latter solves this problem for mame for ex.), any computer game you run does so on a full screen and there are no options to shrink it down to a browser window...

you know what i mean?

you dont have worry about sids unless you're on a domain and you run into sid issues when you have multiple machines on the same domain with the same sid, but thats an easy fix, just unjoin the machine from the domain, rename it reboot, and rejoin to the domain. dude drive image, trust me on this.

MAC ?

i hope someone can help me with this. ok i have a mac g4. just got it a few months ago. anyhoo, before i upgraded my OS to the jaguar, my sound output was fine. now ever since i upgraded it my sound would turn off by itself everytime it is woken up after the energysaver turns off my computer.

why is that? so my stupid simple solution to this problem everytime is to stick my headphone pin to the headphone hole in the back and take it out. for some reason that always works. then everything's fine after that. but when my computer is idle for a while, the sound is disabled again. i even looked in my control panel and the sound is on.

can anyone help me with this problem?
