is this a dumb question? ... EK gets into town on the 27th, right? if the party's that night, then maybe i can swing by before flying out really late, or just fly out early morning on the 28th. i don't want to miss out, dang it!

27th sounds good to me, too. This Saturday is the Fontana/OC Bots party which is semi-organized and semi-certain. The idea is to get to Fontana around 10am, watch various autobotz race around until about 3, then pick up food and booze and hang out at the pool at my dad's place which also has a nice BBQ setup and hangout area. The only thing making this part uncertain is that my dad has been in the hospital for the last few days. But he should be back home by today. I hope.
We'd originally talked about a trek out to Hi Times, the biggest liquor distributor on the West Coast (Costa Mesa) but I fear the beach-going traffic. It might be asking to much to make the trek down there after the trek out to Fontana... ALSO... Bijoux13 and I had mentioned the joys of the Lowenbrau-Keller which is a lot like the Red Lion except it's always empty and quiet. And every square inch of it is decorated with plates, antlers, suits of armor, mega beer steins, paintings, coats of armor, deer heads, and other German paraphernalia. It would be great to get everyone over there some time. PS- when's the next art show at GR2?

sunday night? i might be able to have that off, though since they just hired me (my first official day on the clock is today!) i dont think ill have much leeway in choosing my schedule. at least i wouldnt want to be TOO pushy about it. but in any case ill be out of work by 12 that night and ill come by for sure as long as theres ppl still around.
where is it going to be again?
