Good things lately

Running into friends you don't get to see nearly enough of and actually having a moment to sit down for a beer with them.

Being promoted within your family to higher responsibilities (like taking care of aging grandparents) and not fucking it up but instead actually making everyone's life better.

Realizing you left your cellphone at home and panicking but then slowly getting over it and when you get home there were no emergency calls from work after all.

Randomly picking up some little present for your gf and then when you meet up with her she's had the worst day ever and your timing could not have been more perfect.

The guy at your regular new/used CD store telling you he just got the same new CD you are about to buy sold to him used so do you want the $10 one instead of the $22 one?

more of the goods

eating a big rare steak and washing it down with beer(s).

that feeling you get after voiding bladder/emptying bowels. for the latter, its like you're 20lbs. lighter and you can run the 100m in 9.9; for the former, its just so good your eyes roll waaaaay back up in the skull and all you can say is "yeah".

playing a loud, dirty song through a relatively big amplifier (e.g., blur - song 2. WOOHOO!!)

the way girls dress in summer.

knowing that tomorrow does not bring with it a shitload of responsibility.

cool showers on a hot afternoon.

finally being able to do a pullup! (well almost, but still, pulling yourself up 3/4 of the way is better than not being to pull yourself up at all.)

when hotgirls roll by in a convertible singing along to the stereo that's blasting "hot for teacher."

the big O.

Journey.

engaging in a spirited philosophical debate on whether or not morality is absolute or merely a societal relativism.

skillz.

throwing shit off the balcony.

fly girl-neighbors that forget to close the blinds ;-p

free stuff.
