what anime series are you currently watching?

here's mine:

1. ghost in the shell: stand alone complex - i luv how each eps is self contained. dun need to watch the others but it helps, like the laughing man eps.

2. wolf's rain - wolves that hide as humans. a bit slow but its pickin up.

3. gundam seed - plot seems cliche but the action sequences be dope and i luv gundams!! beats the hell outta gundam wing, ick!

4. last exile - man oh man what awesome eye candy! think blue sub no.6 in the sky!! the blending of cgi and cell anim is dope.

ugh, beanie let me borrow a few Lain dvd's, but i didn't like it at all, it's too slow of a story, and not a lot of talking.

i'm not really indugling in a certain anime, but i'm watching some of excel saga. i really wanna watch more of wolf's rain b/c it looks like it has potential, i've only seen the first episode. and i'm still an Inuyasha fan at heart, although i wish i could see all 100+ episodes, even though i've only seen like a little over 20.

i liked noir, specifically the music. noir's storyline gets repeptitive and slow at times but its still pretty cool. btw, its the same folks behind .hack//sign. unfortunately, .hack didnt rock my boat.

Recently watched NOIR and FULL METAL PANIC.

And have just started RAH XEPHON which I am really digging. I like the style and artwork allot. Though 5 episodes a disc and 7 discs is a bit much!

it gets crazy halfway through... i was kind of unsatisfied with the end.. but it still is good.. but you're right: it's slow in the beginning and hard to get into at first. besides, you have to be in the mood for intellectual stuff.

has anybody here seen the Rahxephon series? i really enjoyed it, but yeah, like everyone says, it is a lot like NGE, yet it's far more confusing. but i still got a majority of it.

unlike most folks, i didnt like rahxephon. the mecha design of the robot really turned me off. i didn't like the natural wings, seemed outta plce to me and ruined the rest of the series for me. i really dislike the wings on the head, wtf?!! oh well.

Oh yea, and I just watched LOVE HINA as well, which I enjoyed, though wish they would continue it, since there is much more story in the Manga (though I would rather have them continue KARE KANO).

I am only 5 episodes in on Rah Xephon, but so far I really dih it. I like the mech designs a lot, and really like the character designs and the quality of the animation. I want to buy the next 2 DVD's though I know I should not.
