Anything else on the horizon similar to Hellsing I should be watching? I don't really like all the space opera stuff with the arguable exception of Cowboy Bebop, which is probably the best anime series of all time....

anything with a horror/straight action slant?
i heard that hellsing is being live action movie.

the only anime I've attempted to watch in its entirety for a while has been FLCL. It's so awesome.

I need to watch that more. I missed it all the time when it was on Adult Swim's Sat. night lineup.

Bummer, my problem with Inuyasha is that it airs at 11:30p locally. I usually want to be sleeping by then since i have to get up at 6:30 in the morning. Inuyasha seems to win out more often than not.

Well I'm done now but I got the complete Rurouni Kenshin series off ebay for $60 (vs $150 per season on amazon). Too bad the last season was weak. Anyone know where I can score the manga (books 18-26) NOT translated?

I also got the Street Fighter 2 V series which should have been called "Stock Footage Fighter" as 5 minutes of every episode recapped the previous episode and the rest of the time Ryu just endlessly waves his arms summoning a hadoken...

Anyone seen the Ninja Scroll series? I might check those out. In the 10th anniversary Ninja Scroll DVD Kawajiri says he's currently working on a full length sequel.

Have you tried J-list for those untranslated manga?
