Just finished watching Trigun. I thought that was a pretty funny series. We then tried to keep the Trigun high going by moving onto Roruni Tenshin.

Hey all, What do you guys think of the recent original Dragonball dvd collections they have been releasing? Im a fan but never saw the original series episodes. Should i pick them up. They are like $30-40 for 2 disc with around 15 episodes each.

I have watched all the episodes up to 17...where can I get EP 18?

I think watching Bleach and Last Exile simultaneously is messing with my head!!!

ep 18 isn't going to be out for a while because the series was canned off free to air television for some reason. they'r releasing ep18 on cable in japan and it isn't due on until next year sometime.

ironic thing is this happened to cowboy bebop also.

just picked up my philips Divx reading DVD player so i am starting to watch NARUTO! [finally]...cause i wanted to wait to watch it on a better screen than my laptop monitor.

btw i was going to post this inthe cheap dvd player thread but that seems to have disappeared: the quality of the divx seems almost better [crisper] than normal DVDs..i was impressed. 25 naruto eps on one DVD is pretty good.

Bleach is heaps of fun.

I've noticed something called NGE - perfect edition or something like that has been released here, is this just remastered or is there more to it?

Thoughts on the "Paranoia Agent" series? I saw the ad in GR35 and I've read bits and pieces about it.

Anyone here actually seen it?

They remixed the audio to 5.1, which isn't that big a deal to me, but it is to others.

They fixed most of the video jitters between scene changes, which bothered some before (not me) And the colors are more vibrant, but I kinda lked that faded washed out look in the original.

And they included some original dialogue that didn't make it in the final version.

It's been awhile since I watched the series, so it might be a good opportunity to see it again in a new light, but I won't be paying to see it. Just borrow it from a friend.

I watched the first 4 episodes. The animation is great. Cool eyecatches plus opening and closing songs and images that are unsettling in an interesting way. As the story unfolded, I started to think maybe "Shounen Bat" was some physical manifestation of a collective buried memory. Maybe not. Anyway you look at this series, it'll be worth it to figure out all the twists and connections between events and characters.

Seen first 4 episodes. I like it so far. It is a braintwister. Kind of funny, kind of sad, next twist every episode.

Thanks for the impressions on Paranoia Agent! I'll have to check it out.

Finally watched my first episode of Hellsing on Encore Action last night. Shoot! Another anime series I'm now interested in!
