UFC on Fox last Saturday was a great card. It was actually pay-per-view worthy with a strong top end.

The one I really went back to a lot to think about was Rory MacDonald dismantling BJ Penn. Rory could have easily pulled a finisher on BJ at about halfway point through the match but instead made him suffer through a third round. I guess it's payback from when BJ was talking shit about Rory and Tri-Star gym and all. A submission or a knockout would have been the easy way out for BJ, so Rory stuck it to him to make him suffer.

I've never seen Shogun look so weak in the octagon either. Too bad Dana seems to be turning back on the guarantee that Gustaffson, as winner of the match-up, would face Bones. Looks like Dana wants him to face Machida instead. Not sure what to think about that match-up.

Then there's Diaz. Looks like Cesar must go back to the drawing board after that masterful show of destruction by Henderson. Ben showed the blueprint to defeating the Diaz brothers after last Saturday's match. It must dawn on that Gracie training camp that they need to draw from disciplines other than boxing and BJJ.
