I swear to God that Motorola designed antennas on certain phones to break. In particular, the older Startacs and the relatively newer v 60's. I broke that damn thing twice already on my latest so I went on line and bought a bunch of replacement ones for cheap. Like 2 bucks each. Otherwise I'm paying the Verizon store 11 bucks every time it breaks. Now I can go there with a replacement 'tenna all ready to go and they'll have to install it for free. Save myself 8 bucks (shipping and handling, you see).

I am pretty much stuck with ATT for the next year at least. But part of that is because in the NW, ATT signal and plan cost ($ per min) are both good. (Seems like no provider has good enough customer service to warrant switching, so... ATT is the standard bearer here I think.

SO! ANYWAY, I need to get a new phone! My SonyEricsson T68i has crapped out after falling in the.. yeah, crapper. Just water, thank goodness, but I think it's toast. I have been drying it out, but still nothong. So, I could give them $25 for the same phone that has bugs in the Calendar fxn and that can't survive a couple seconds in a puddle of water. OR I could give them like $100 - $300 (?) dollars ( ! ) and get a camera phone (with a calendar that fkn works.)

I want a flip phone. "Cos otherwise my screen is always getting greasy! What a suck design! It just doesn't work out. And I don't want any fucking lint ending up behind my screen either! And I want the photos to be jpegs, dammit! So I can actually show them to people who don't have the same obscure technology as I do.

So, with all that in mnd, which pnone should I get??? Or are camera-phones going to be the pet rock of the '00s?

Maybe I should think about an actual decent digital camera with good porting ability.

Babbling 'cos I've had like 11 hours of sleep total in the past 80 hours.
Let's see, that's like 1/7th of my time sleeping instead of the usual 1/3rd or so. Hmm, less than half my usual slep for three days. And last night was actually only like 70 minutes of sleep. Not healthy for a sloth like mee... hence babbling.

ATT has a better phone selection than Cingular and Verizon. if you want a camera flip phone from ATT, you might want to check these..

NEC 525
Panasonic GU87
Samsung v206
Motorola v600 (coming soon)

except for the NEC and the Motorola, i believe ATT has already stopped carrying the above phones. however, if you go to an ATT reseller, you might be able to scoop up some leftover inventory. or you can buy an unlocked GSM phone on eBay and use it with your ATT SIM card.
