Started Act 3 last night. Woohoo! A friend of mine dropped in on one of my play periods during the weekend and left me a nice 52.3 damage rare spear. I've been slicing and dicing fools like crazy. Plus, I'm playing on normal difficulty so that probably helps too.

I keep encountering spots where I can't attack for damage, pick up items, or get magically teleported back a few paces. Annoying but not wholly unexpected, I suppose.

The other plus is that I'm getting an HIS IceQ 7850 2GB card for Father's Day!

Finished D3 last night on normal difficulty with my monk (then level 33). So, restarted on the next difficulty level (Nightmare?) with the monk and templar as my follower.

I was chatting with my neighbor a bit last night and he said he's a big fan of the witch doctor once you get him/her leveled up.

That was a great cut scene. Definitely! I was kind of expecting that turn, though, too.

I'd been following this one since it first got announced. Not very closely, mind, but nonetheless... Have you played it? I'm tempted by it. It looks like it could be a lot of fun. I haven't read any reviews either.

yep just got it the other day. haven't had time to really play it but i will have time in the next few days.

Anyone going to pick up the new Skyrim DLC? I still haven't finished the main game. I got burned out on it and then Diablo 3 came out. I still plan on returning to it to finish it, though.

Also looking forwarding to Penny Arcade's "Rain-Slicked Precipice 3" coming to XBLM. I think I'll wait on Torchlight 2 from Steam until it goes on sale. I've got more than enough stuff to play through right now that I can definitely wait.

Steam summer sale. What a horridly beautiful annual event. Picked up a whole slew of titles for a reasonably small amount of money. Now not sure when I'll find the time to play any of them.
