I'm really glad that metal shows aren't the suasagefests they used to be. This was also true at the Decibel show. Back then, the only girls that were at shows were the ones that were forcefully dragged by their boyfriends. Not the case any longer.
All the bands had awesome shirts on the merch counter at tonight's show..

Remember when Dave Mustaine mentioned that he'd be fine with Rick Santorum as president...perhaps also projecting his homophobic value system and all of that? Well...
It seems that Dave has an illegitimate daughter living in Seattle. Bree McKenna plays bass in the band TacocaT...which has feminist/lesbian leanings. She writes about the awkwardness of their reunion in the Vice website.

Picked up a shirt that's got the album cover of the classic Death Angel album The Ultra-Violence. I remember listening to this on cassette on repeat for so many times. The band is also planning to re-release the album. I do need this on CD so badly!

Classic Bay Area thrash, joetron. They gigged around with Metallica, Testament, and Exodus. Hella Pinoys in that crew too. They were part of that Metal Swim compilation if you remember.
