So, in the ongoing saga of my DJ Signify packaging...

The packaging on the exchanged copy of that CD eventually fell apart, too. So, I e-mailed Tom@Lex again and asked if maybe they could just send me a replacement for the packaging (the CD itself was in find condition).

So, he does. Except that the mailed replacement is falling apart, too. But, I'm done with it and won't bother asking for another replacement at this point.

The nice bonuses, though are a promo copy of the Boom Bip "Corymb" CD and a copy of Lexample.

How's that RJD2 CD? I'm going to pick that up tonight.

I don't know what the release date on the Boom Bip CD is. None is listed on the CD nor on Lex's website.

I like it. it's a good mixture of stuff....some 70's funk and even some rock . he does a track that sounds like it could be an homage to The Cars if you can believe that. but overall I don't think it's as bad as some people make it out to be. it's certainly a better sophomore album than *ahem* DJ Shadow's.

How's that new Streets album? I was interested in getting it. But, then I heard some of the stuff during a review of it on NPR and cooled off on it considerably.

Liars- They Were Wrong So We Drowned
Ghost- Hypnotic Underworld
Kanye West- College Dropout
Franz Ferdinand- s/t
Nas- Illmatic 10th Anniversary Edition
The Streets- A Grand Don't Come For Free

Good stuff, mostly. The Liars album wasn't that great, but had some good songs. Their first was far better.
