doesn't seem like lip syncing to me. every lip movement seems to be on point. I think they recorded it, cleaned it up and then dubbed the same (cleaned up) audio over the same video. the audio seems to be from the same take. I could be wrong though. still nice to watch.

Well, that's what I meant by lip syncing. They're singing along to a pre-recorded take. Stars have been caught doing the same thing, their mic accidentally turned on and suddenly you hear them singing live along with the recorded song they were supposed to lip synch to.

It's totally fine. But this is interesting. Because a lot of Youtube's most popular music videos have been completely stripped down performances, a girl and a guitar and a cheap mic, all steak, no sizzle, the complete opposite of a Britney Spears or Rihanna video, and people respond to the rawness and honesty of it. No audio processing, no 30 best takes cut and pasted into one song, etc.

The song by these two girls sound "tweaked," and it seems like they rely heavily on strong mic. Meaning, there's quite a bit of trickery going on in this one, but it's meant to appear like a stripped down Youtube video. The girl on the left seems incredibly uncomfortable, and I don't think she's playing the guitar we hear in the instrumental tracks. She's not hitting some of the notes. But I'm not a guitar player so don't know for sure. Both of them, especially the little girl, are looking at a person off screen for direction.

Still cute. Just interesting to see. This is almost like the Lonely Girl 15 of intimate musical performances.

but that's not what I meant though. I don't think they are singing along to anything. my point was, since its the same audio from the same take, its not really consider lip syncing. if you were to be there watching them perform, there is no audio playback, just their vocal acoustics. (which are probably being recorded in order to be processed later on?) and then in post production perhaps overlaying the cleaned up track on the video.

OR its all them, no post.

agreed that they are probably just relying on professional equipment, and its processed.
