I just finished Kitchen Confidential, awesome. I work in a kitchen and it was hilarious. I like a Cook's Tour, he's got guts, best show on the food network. I am also glad he finds the celebrity t.v. chefs as annoying as I do. Although I must say I prefer the Balthazar cookbook over Les Halles.

I thought the show was just okay as well.
I have a hard time believing the character living in that apartment: spacious, clean, nice, and organized. I think the show should be more gritty...too many pretty cooks.

I just saw ep 2-5 of No Reservations...I totally empathized with Tony's lack of enthusiasm for 'Chef Wan.' Also, 'Torpedo Soup', the best named soup ever!
I think Tony's show should be underwritten by Immodium D.

so far I thought malaysia was the best of the bunch. His summary at the end was classic bourdain.
dl'ing the vegas ep, apparently ruhlman is in it. Should be good to see those two lock horns.
