i am going to buy this next paycheck...hella kool....

from the website:

"
And here's another thing. Ya know that cute girl in your english class that you've been trying to impress? This shirt should do the trick. It shows you're smart and clever while making sure she knows you've got a sense of humor too. Place your order on a Monday, get the shirt on a Thursday, wear it to class on Friday and ask her out for Saturday. After that, welcome to Pantyville, population: you."

Does American Apparel last long? I browsed their store once, and everything looked & felt kind of flimsy. Yet it was all pretty expensive for basic wears.

I think the "flimsiness" is part of the appeal--at least on the thinner shirt bodies. They get really comfortable after a few wears and they feel like second skin.

yeah, i prefer thin t-shirts. i actually prefer 50/50 t-shirts, but no one offers them. apparently, those aren't good for silkscreening.

When everyone started using them for men's tees 2 years ago...going to the fitting room was a revelation.

I'd like a tee for the print, but once I tried them on and they were the thin type, I'd be like..."damn this shit feels good").

OK...I'm starting to see things crawling on my desktop.

yeah, i noticed that a while back. alternative apparel and american apparel seem to have been founded at roughly the same time, have similar names, both tout that they are sweatshop-free, and carry t-shirts of very similar cuts, fabrics and colors. i wonder how the quality of alternative apparel is compared to the other, more well-known AA...

by the way, you can find lots of alternative apparel and american apparel stuff here relatively cheap. i really should stop looking at t-shirts. i have waaaay too many.

I saw a cute tee with a picture of Ralphie on it - he had on
a bathing suit
and something that looked like leg warmers on his legs

by why did the caption say,
"drop it like its hot"?
