Amazing stuff. Although I do question a few scenes, in particular the one of the dude squeezing a gel-cap, that looked more CG'd rather than live action. Otherwise, stunning!

yeah, i think the real part was the initial burst of the gel. everything else was CGI. or at least i hope so. otherwise that's one juicy gel cap!

Just got an email notification this morning that AVID (and the Pinnacle products) have been purchased by Corel.

It's weird when a shitty company buys a seemingly bigger and better company.

FCP was doing okay for a while in the TV world, but they really fucked themselves with X. If Avid just keeps making solid shit and avoid trying to make Media Composer behave more like FCP's timeline, they'll be fine. Super fine.

i dunno. Corel has consumer oriented products. i'm sure we'll start seeing Pro Tools, Media Composer, etc.. get dumbed down over time. or they'll eliminate/consolidate products to mimic Apple's offerings.

funny/cheezy video. but i like the drab look/feel as he walks down the streets. also, effective use of cats.

^ iMovie can do all that. Haven't really worked with iMovie, you might need Quicktime or MPEG Streamclip to make the digitized footage into something iMovie will recognize.
