"Yes," Calvin responded. "Did the minister give a sermon?" his wife continued. "Yes," Calvin answered. "What did he talk about?" Mrs. Coolidge pressed impatiently. "Sin," her husband replied. "Well," demanded Calvin's wife, as her frustration continued to mount, "what did he say about it?" "He's against it," Calvin concluded.

Ahahaha!

I love me a good Calvin Coolidge joke!

At the white castle burger joint :

An individual who consumes 6 or more "slyders" in one sitting earns the distinction "slyder pilot."

Every year for Valentine's Day, White Castle offers to reserve a candlelit table for two complete with a server.

There's only one thing better than a Calvin Coolidge joke, and that'd be a Millard Fillmore joke!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masato_%28kickboxer%29

Masato is pretty much my kickboxing hero. I wouldn't imagine him as someone who would need surgery to get some eyelids considering the amount of ladies he must pull in.

In the movie "Annie Hall" the person that Woody Allen points out to Diane Keaton as the winner of the Truman Capote look-alike contest was played by the actual Truman Capote.

I like Buakaw too, but I've been a Masato fan for a while now, and it's just weird to me the way they phrased the bit about his eye surgery:

"Masato's greatest flaw, and most widely criticized characteristic, are his single eye lids. The cause of great personal shame, Masato is rumored to have the operation scheduled for January 2007. He will most likely be out of action for several months."

I know getting that operation is pretty common in asia, but I didn't know there was that kind of pressure to get it.

According to some scholars [citation needed] Azazel is the chief of the Se'irim. According to these scholars, the Se'irim are goat-demons who haunted the desert and to whom most primitive Semitic tribes offered sacrifices. These scholars interpret the Old Testament as stating that Jeroboam appointed priests for the Se'irim, but that Josiah destroyed the places of their worship, as the practices accompanying this worship involved copulation of women with goats.

Collin de Plancy's Dictionnaire Infernal (1863) describes Azazel as the guardian of goats. On the 10th day of Tishri, on the feast of the Expiation, it was Jewish custom to draw lots for two goats: one for the Lord and the other for Azazel. The goat for the Lord was then sacrificed and its blood served as atonement. With the goat for Azazel, the high priest would place both of his hands on the goat's head and confess both his sins and the sins of the people. The goat ("scapegoate") was then led into the desert and set free. Azazel then returned the goat. Milton described Azazel as the first gate-teacher of the infernal armies. Azazel is also the name of the demon that serves Mark the heretic. that Job's ha-satan is a servant of God).

I learned all about henry hill, desimonne, vario and them thugs portrayed in the goodfellas movie. it said the movie was a pretty accurate depiction of the real life events. now that's some scary shit. tommy depicted by joe pesci was 90%-95% close to the real thing. henry hill (played by ray liotta) was half italian and half irish. and his wife karen was jewish.

"how am i funny?"

"you're just funny, how you tell a story."

"what do you mean im funny. im a clown. do i amuse you?"

i also have a medium case of ocd. i've been playing the 'layla' piano goodfellas theme song over and over on youtube.
