I'll try it. Sounds good. I remember when I was younger, I could go to sleep absolutely starving, somehow I had the will power to do that. Not sure if that's healthy but damn I lost weight fast that way!

^ If you're talking about the Akmak crackers those things are really good. Cheese is a good idea. I've been eating a lot of lite cheese sticks.

Roll up a slice of cheese in with a cold cut. It's like you're having a fancy party just for yourself!

^ I've done all those things. Haha. It's a weird psychological game I'm playing with myself. I feel like buying those things and having them ready to go is me being resigned to eating at night. I should just accept it for now. Slowly, I want to stop eating at all between my last meal and breakfast.

^ I'm about 12 days into my new health plan, and for the most part it's been going good. Breakfast, lunch, and exercising 5 or 6 times a week has been easy and I think perhaps even reached "habit" stage at this point. Dinners have been trickier cuz I've been going out drinking with friends too much. But still good. Need to keep myself in check between the hours of 7pm and 10am and I'll be doing awesome. Really, that's my biggest weakness, is late night eating. Success will be mostly predicated on that alone.

Be careful with the drinking. Booze = Empty Calories

That said, a beer or two every so often won't kill ya.

Haven't been running as much and my weight has gone back above my self imposed limit. Need to start running more again because I'm not eating less!

do you mean like, getting drunk at a bar, then hitting taco bell on the way home, smashing it and then crashing into bed?

^ Maybe in the past. Now, I've managed to control that or greatly minimize it. No fast food! Just talking about getting up in the middle of the night starving, not being able to fall back asleep, and being convinced only eating something will allow me to sleep again.

sounds like you just need to eat more. you shouldn't be afraid to eat close to bedtime.

just don't eat carbs at that last meal and you'll be fine as long as you're getting exercise.

your body processes a lot of calories through the night.
