Strained my knee doing squats last Friday, so I'm out for a while, other than upper-body exercises...

For those of you who are already getting bored of their workouts, here's a handy site for variations on the common theme:

http://www.shapefit.com/training.html

Just scroll down and click on the specific exercise. The animations are very good for showing proper form. Enjoy!

Note that when doing any exercises with a barbell, the barbell itself weighs 45lbs. and compensate accordingly.

I actually got on the elliptical for 2 days in a row this week, however, couldnt go yesterday because my car is in the shop and couldn't leave my house. Today I will get on the thing though!

been working out steady this week!
i hate when i have to come home late from rehearsals because I do eat earlier to keep from snacking at the rehearsal but why do i pig out once i get home at 10:30 PM and right before I go to bed at 11:30?

I think I regained the 2 pounds I tried so hard to lose for the past three weeks - god I hate this!

Schlepping all my band's gear up 4 flights of stairs last night have me pretty sore today. I'm starting to realize how out of shape I am, but where to start?

Just working out at home. I have to find a simple routine of weight lifting and stretching to give some attention to these neglected muscle groups.

I would run stadium stairs or a massive set of stairs - good cardio and leg muscle shaping! Run on a track - take up yoga - believe me it is harder than it looks and you will stretch muscles you forgot you had - there are lots of good yoga videos you can do at home!

My gym just moved upstairs and got completely new equipment, so there's a bunch of new stuff. My back is totally killing today from using that seated fly. It sucks using muscles you haven't use in forever!

Pretty much controlling myself. I'm not losing weight but very possibly staying the same. I eat bad, but I eat very infrequently, sensibly.

Yeah, I'll glad when December (The 'Free Candy' Month) is over. I've packed on a few pounds.

Did a 20 mile run today to offset any holiday cheer.

I feel lousy if I don't eat regularly, though. I have bananas nearby in case I start to feel tired.
