Adrenaline rush? Attention seeker? Lot of them here in MPLS. I would never ride one, but I think it's cool (and kinda insane) to see people rolling around town on em, especially on busy streets. I like sharing the road with em better than the geared out Tour wannabes….

Yeah, I've seen some cruising around really busy streets in LA.
Just thinking - if that guy loses his balance, his bike's gonna land on one car, and his body is gonna land on the next car over.
Dude I saw this morning had to duck out the way of a tree, half a foot away cars were passing him at 40mph.

the ones that i've seen around here look like a bike stuck on top of a bike.

if you're trying out for the circus, awesome. otherwise, wtf?

Say a guy was going to learn to fix his own bike and wanted a bike stand.

Is there "the one" I should get?

I need an XL mountain bike frame with horizontal dropouts.

Anyone have any idea where I can find one for less than $400?

I hear you can pick up used Azonic Steelheads for cheap on Craigslist. It'll be a tank and you'll probably have to use most of a Thompson post to reach your butt, but it'll get the job done. I have a couple of buddies who've done it and both bikes ride like trucks. They're indestructable and rad.

Oh, that reminds me.
What's a guy do if he needs a seatpost so long nobody makes it?

As badly as I want me a motorcycle, I desperately want to get back on a bicycle again. Been looking at the Raleigh Super Record and I love the look of a standard steel frame with classic geometry, but this Fuji is looking pretty good at that price point.

Not really a fan of the goofy compact frame sets with oversize tubing.
