I only just now realized that I have been holding the answer to a problem I've had for a month or two now. I've wanted to turn my cross frame into a beach cruiser for months. I was thinking about buying BMX bars. Then I remembered that I have sparrow bars. Sparrow bars plus S-WORKS cross frame with full Ultegra / XT componentry. Decadence. Douchery. Awesomeness. I even think I have all the cabling. I might be able to do this during the coming weekend.

just turn your road bars upside down and backwards.

i see hobos around here all the time riding like that.

usually with a lit cigarette in their mouth.

Tempting. But they're NITTO. And more importantly a gift.

I very much want to show them off - in use - to the person who gave them to me.

Maxis Wetscreams look good too but sounds like they are too aggressive and would shred our local trails.
