Also, be prepared for every disease known to mankind to come through your doorway because it got attached to your kid during daycare/pre-school/playdates/what have you.

It was rare that I used to get sick. But since having kids, I get sick at least once or twice every wintertime. I'm a big baby when I'm sick. I can out baby my kids when I'm coming down with the sickness!
