Nice! That's my everyday carry knife. Every time I show a friend the Speed Safe feature it makes them want to buy one.

I took the clip off on my knife.

I thought your weapon of choice would've been a rapier.

Speed Safe is pretty nuts, essentially making any knife with the feature a legal switchblade, and like your friends the guys at my MA club were oooh-ing over it. I prefer to keep the clips on my folders as they allow me to figure out which way is up faster, easier access, and they also provide a more positive grip.

A couple of guys I know picked up Cold Steel Kukris, thus making for the most imposing gardening and camping implements known to man Personally I'd love to have a Cold Steel Hatamoto but it is waaay too expensive.

Next addition to the cutlery collection is as yet unknown, perhaps an Emerson of some sort.

Man, that Hatamoto is hot.

I'm also loving that Caledonian Edge folder. I could really see myself going around stabbing people with that thing just for the fun of it.

I know how you feel. Sometimes I just want to open a blade up and start going to town! And then I remember the legal ramifications of doing so

Why the hell is that Cold Steel Hatamoto so expensive? Even if it can go through a car door?

I've always liked the R1 Military Classic although I guess you could get a better knife of the same pattern elsewhere.

Somewhere I have a Bushman knife/spearhead thingy...

Those are some serious lookin blades, Tangent.

If I had the funds then I would probably get one of these:

http://www.knifeart.com/classicsebenza.html

or...

http://www.heinnie.com/Knives/Emerso.../p-92-132-920/

We have very restrictive carry laws over here. You can't legally carry anything with a fixed or locking blade or a blade over 3 inches in length. You try mugging someone with a spatula, it's bloody hard work.

lol things are about pretty much the same here..
i've been looking for a general camping/bug out knife and came across the kikuo matsudas.. i like them cause they're custom and look alien/future apocalyptic ..

on a more realistic note i've been looking at the ka bar BK7

my dad has a couple korean issue US army M5 bayonets which are pretty nice but they're not really camp knives.. one's in good condition but the other is a little rusty..
