From The Other 98% Facebook wall:

A unionized public employee, a teabagger, and a CEO are sitting at a table. In the middle of the table there is a plate with a dozen cookies on it. The CEO reaches across and takes 11 cookies, looks at the teabagger and says, "Look out for that union guy -- he wants a piece of your cookie."

If not for his union, he would have no advocate on his side trying to get his royalties and calling bullshit when movies who gross 500 million say they haven't made a profit. What a dumbass.
Well, that's par for the course.

And it doesn't just affect the Tea Party types, either. There are certainly plenty of people who think Scott Walker is a prick, but thought Waiting for Superman was a great documentary even though it also attacked teachers' unions.

I doubt the documentary would have gotten as much praise if a conservative had made it.

That pretty much sums up how I feel about all of politics.

Including Democrats. (I speak as someone who voted for Clinton, Gore, and Kerry)

Incidentally, Koch Industries gave funding to the Democratic Leadership Council as well.

Not surprising in the least. Special Insterests always play both sides of the field I've found.

I don't play favorites anymore mostly because I've found they don't either. Well, they do - but only their croney pals.

Michael Moore joined the protesters in Madison on Saturday. Personally, I like his message & I think he has his heart in the right place, but his documentaries are about as real as "reality" television. Check out "Fellowship 9/11" and see if you don't agree. But yeah, thanks for comin' out, Mike.

What is the point of a union that sells out its members?

So their bargaining rights are secured but now their jobs aren't? Is that what's going on? Dude's spiteful and on a power trip?
