So far Ellen Page is my favorite cameo / minor character.

I've also been going through Netflix's PBS Wallstreet / financial collapse documentaries. Not all of which blow.

Thus far my favorite random movie I watched with no foreknowledge:



The 'villain' isn't too threatening to me, but Cary Grant is fucking hilarious.

Sometimes they have neat movies.

For some reason my favorite movies are the ones made from the late fifties to the late seventies.

i assumed everything in their instant queue dealie would be in their archive permanently.

about a month ago they had the super rare posthumously completed documentary on voodoo by maya deren called "divine horsemen: living gods of haiti". its no longer there and its not even available for dvd on netflix.

the funny thing is, their rare movies usually have some crappy jpeg cover that looks like straight to dvd b-movie crap. most likely cuz there was never an official release with proper promo shots and what nots. so they just look heck of generic.

When I noticed that they take down movies from streaming I was sad.

There were one ow two that I didn't get a chance to see.

Yamchild mentioned that their Criterion Collection will be taken down within the year.

My next will be this one:



It'll be gone and then I'll regret it if I haven't viewed it.
