^How do you like Greencine? I signed up with them to get access to anime DVDs that Netflix no longer had but it's been a bit of a bust. The only reason I've kept it so far is because it includes BD rentals at no additional cost.

yeah like yamchild said they prob like that you arent using the service a ton. ive had times like that with netflix dvds where they just sit there for weeks and weeks. so a few months ago i switched to streaming service only. also the fighter is coming to streaming in july so if you wait long enough you wont even need the dvd

what's your issue with greencine? i think they tend to have fewer copies of each movie, so if a movie you want to see is low availability, you gotta wait for a loooong time. not an issue for me since i have a 1200+ dvd queue, i always have something that's high availability. i like that they allow you to maintain longer queues than netflix (last i checked, netflix caps its queues at 500). i also like that i live near a distribution center and can get dvd's really really fast. i make sure to go online and check that i've returned the movie as soon as i sent it off. i can easily watch 15+ dvds per month with my 2-out plan.

My issue is that the titles I'm most interested in seeing have one or two discs that are on the low-availability end of things. My problem, really.

I think my favorite thing is that I can rent BDs as part of my subscription at no additional cost.

I had a movie once for almost three months and they sent me a third movie (I was on the 2 DVD plan) and told me I'd get a new one when I sent back any two. It was a hint that I should return the one I'd had forever I think. I never watched it either.

Truly mediocre. Worse than Crash. At least Crash had one redeeming scene.

I ended up fastforwarding to see if there was anything of any interest at the end.

Mostly quasi-propaganda with now-passe shaky camera movements.

^I've been wondering about that one.

On a different note: I love Bill Murray.

http://blog.netflix.com/2011/07/netf...plans-and.html

I think I'll be switching to streaming only (or maybe just canceling all together).

This sucks.

Actually, should I switch to DVD only? Hmm...
