wow. sigs are beautiful. whats up with hand guns chambered for 10mm cant think of any off the top of my head, are they even made? i know theres a variation of the mp5 that have 10mms..

yeah, there are hanguns available in 10mm. I don't know hte whole history behind the round, but I beleive it was initially developed for the FBI. Alot of people had problems controlling the round though, so along came the 40 cal, I believe its the same size bullet, less powder, but i could be wrong abou thtat too. The Glock G20 is a 10mm gun...

In CA, you need more for a handgun. It really is a pain in the ass to get a handgun in CA now, if you want teh details, i'll share, otherwise I'll spare you the hassle.

Also in regards to teh CA CCW, it depends which county you live in. Some are real easy to obtain, others are nigh impossible..it all depends on the sheriff

I went out and put 150 rounds (165 grain FMJ) through my p239 yesterday; worked like a charm...very nice. Probably go out next weekend and put a couple hundred more through it.

What romance and intrigue surrounded the introduction of the 10mm Auto! At first it was going to be introduced with a brand new gun called the Bren Ten. Both gun and cartridge got the qualified endorsement of Jeff Cooper. The idea was to produce a cartridge as long as the .45 ACP, but smaller in bullet diameter. Originally, the load was to be a 200-grain bullet at 1,200 fps, but soon evolved to a 180-grain bullet at 1,200 fps (which actually clocked at more like 1,150 fps). That is actually a pretty potent load, about 30 percent more powerful than the .45 ACP. Everybody jumped on the 10mm bandwagon for awhile, but only a couple of pistols are still offered and most of the ammo is loaded to .40 S&W velocities. Because of higher capacity magazines, the .40s are better combat guns with the lighter loadings. The few remaining high performance 10mm loads are great for field use, but are easily bested by any number of different magnum revolvers. With genuine regret--I really liked the 10mm--it's thumbs down.
