I wanna see it. It's like Woody's first teen movie.

I think I'll see it too. What the hell, it's Woody Allen.
My favorite among his recent stuff has to be "Everyone Says I Love You." When he started flying through the air and shit during one of the musical numbers, I thought I was going to die from laughter. Hahaha.

What many people don't know is that Woody is a writer too. His books are genius. Without Feathers is beautiful. Highly recommend his writing if you haven't checked it out already.

I saw "Anything Else"
Probably the funniest film of the year (which isn't saying much)

i will see this, when it comes out in france.
i will wait in line, get a ticket, walk to the room in which the movie is showing, find a seat and sit down and wait for it to start, sit throught the commmericals, and when the movie starts, i'll watch it while sitting down. when the movie ends, i will leave the theater. i will go home, take a piss if i feel like it, maybe take a nap if i'm tired, maybe get a bottle of vodka... hackoduekn.

I suppose he should get some respect for being in the biz as long as he has, but I for one have never ever ever "gotten" his movies, books, whatever. For some reason that I cannot fathom, people are fanatical about Woody. My friend tried to show me a screenplay of his when I was in fourth grade for god's sake!
And it would appear to me that you can't separare Woody's art from his life, because pretty much everything he does is about his neurosis over relationships which of course manifests itself into marrying his ex-wife's adopted daughter, or casting himself boffing someone 1/3 his age. |

I guess you have to identify with woody allen to put up with it. A lot of critic-type people do just that. Some of my friends dig the 70s allen movies, but they laugh at him too. There's this nasty little bitter thing running under each movie he's done, that's minimally interesting at least. It's sort of directed at women. |

i noticed one time that all of his scenes are shot without cutting. i don't know if this is a technique that others are aware of our if it's something he's known for but i just happened to notice it once.
