I'm a big fan of his work but, the last new Allen film I saw was "Hollywood Ending".

Even though "Match Point" received excellent notices, I haven't even bothered to rent it.

Instead, I just re-watch his older stuff, Annie Hall, Hannah & Her Sisters, Manhattan, Crimes and Misdemeanors, Stardust Memories, etc.

I don't know. I guess I started falling out of love when he recycled his Catholics/pigeons joke from Manhattan into his later film Alice.

Not sure if I ever heard of "Anything Else" and "September."

At first I thought Midnight in Paris was ranked awfully low, but then I realized he's made a shit ton of good movies.

I still think Radio Days is his best love movie. His depiction of that era is more loving than anything a man has done for a woman in any of his films.

Woody dialogue for people in their 20's was pretty weak. The shit Juno was saying that was so subversive and shocking... ugh. It was strange hearing so much talk about communists, seemed so quaint. The whole shower thing reminded me of his short stories. Probably the most absurd Woody in quite some time? Randall?
