Giant Robot Time: 8.10.12 – Uglydoll Wage Birthday Party this Sunday at GR2!

We’re proud to host a Birthday Party for Wage! As many of you know… Wage began the journey for Uglydoll in 2002. The first shop? Giant Robot. Now, ten years later, Wage in it’s original form is reproduced as Uglydoll 10 Year Anniversary Wage (pictured above).

GR2 will host creator David Horvath in a “relaxed event” including Anniversary Wage signing, cake, cookies, button making, and Wages (Bingo)! Come celebrate with us!  Facebook event. >>

SERIES 24 FIGURE

BEARBRICK

Brand new series of the classic Bearbrick mini figures. Eleven different possibilities including Batman, Snoopy or Felix the Cat styles.

DINGY T-SHIRT

YELLOW RAT

Beautiful simple tees based on graphics from the 50′s and 60′s. This particular design was done by Margaret Kilgallen!

YETI BULLITT T-SHIRT

GAMA-GO

I don’t think it would a good idea to cross Yeti in a road rage incident. Steer clear of his Bullitt automobile.

Add these cute animals to your mundane taping tasks. It’s sure to make your craft projects cuter.

HOLIDAY CANDY STICKERS

BEE CREATE SEAL

Delicious holiday related candy treats all on one sticker sheet! Chocolate dipped strawberries and gingerbread men!

NIKKI MCCLURE

Following the success of All in a Day, Nikki McClure once again uses her unique paper cutouts to showcase wonderful images of nature and the joys of family and the outdoors.

Yumi Sakugawa is an LA based comic book artist and illustrator who creates gem-like stories. Follow these vignettes and be charmed.
Each figure is handmade and features a juicy paint job.
A collaboration that was founded upon DIY ethics and resulted in killer resin figures.

SHOW REVIEWS: RED KROSS RECORD RELEASE PARTY AT THE ROXY, DOWN BY LAW AND THE CASUALTIES AT THE OBSERVATORY

By MARTIN WONG

SHOW REVIEWS: BLACK BREATH, AEGES, NOMADS, MOUNTAIN OF TEETH, FISHBONE, SOUL ASYLUM

By MARTIN WONG

Finally, it was time for Black Breath. On vinyl, the heshers from Seattle sound like a cage match between rabid prehistoric mammals armed with axes and stacks of amps. Its latest cover art, mashing up the bloodied mirror from Black Flag’s Damaged and hammer from Metallica’s Kill Em All, says it all but in concert the nonstop riffs are revealed to be fun as well as violent with unending hair and headbanging. >>
