Silent Wonderment Closing Event Photos - July 2nd 2016
Silent Wonderment: Exploring the World of Giant Robot at the Vincent Price Art Museum closed on Saturday, but it didn't end like most exhibitions. We decided to throw a small event which included Albert Reyes, Rob Sato and Ako Castuera, Matt Furie, Yoskay Yamamoto, and Tiny Splendor doing short talks along with a zine workshop where one could put together a zine of drawings by the artists. It turns out, this was the first workshop ever at the museum and it went off without a hitch. There will surely be more.
I have to give a big thanks to VPAM, Vy Ly, Victor, Jorge, Pilar, the student workers, the artists, the Board (George Yin), and Mike Fong. The show was amazing and glad to know it had a high attendance from the opening night to the closing.
