"Raijin the god of lightning & Fujin the god of wind are brothers who are responsible for storms and typhoons. They are constantly competing for control of the sky. Raijin knocks on his drums to create the sound of thunder & lightning. Fujin carries a bag of winds across his shoulders. Though both gods are feared for the destruction their storms bring, they are also seen as protectors of Japan, their storms protecting from invasion as well as providing rain for crops."
