Paul Kitagaki Jr, photographer unearthed some Dorothea Lange photos from the Internment experience and coupled them with some more recent photos and stories that are now hanging at the San Bruno Bart station which is where Tanforan Race Track, an assembly center for Japanese American was located and 70 years ago. A great concept, history, and the station will probably get more visitors than a gallery show. Take a look at the photos and read the stories. They never get old. SF Gate.

The food episode of the Simpsons is happening this Sunday. Straight up, one image has the infamous Sriracha sauce, and a bottle of Kimchee. Yes, Asian food will factor in as it just has to. What’s more, Bart is a yellow man. This is a cool quote from executive producer Matt Selman, “It’s just a world that I always thought was funny and fascinating. The idea of food as not only something you enjoy eating, but as something that you are so passionate about that you’re kind of bragging about it. “I’m the one who discovered this particular Korean pork-neck soup restaurant,” and you can kind of claim that as yours.
