Giant Robot Store and GR2 News
When is the last time you heard of IBM? They were once the biggest computer company, and now, they're a bunch of posters. Do they still make computers? Either way, at Reagan airport, the gate area from where I was leaving had this display of posters that went around in a circle. Of course they repeated, but I think I photographed them all. IBM might be hard to find these days, but these posters are done right. Great graphics that make a fine study of how colors react to and with each other.

The Smithsonian APA Advisory Panel. But what is it? I'll admit I walked in unsure, but it turns out, it's as dramatic as you want to make it.

I made this stop frame animation last week! It took a ton of still images and a lot of movement and time. This is the second time I’ve tried this and I actually used a 10 frame a second ratio which is a lot smoother than 5 or 6 which I did last time out. Yes, that's the NBA's number 1 pick John Wall. I met him in his hotel lobby in Washington DC. Think he'll be a huge star? His skill set is supposedly off the charts. He's not a big guy compared to other pros, and I'm sure he'll get larger, etc. Maybe it's me that's too big, and I think I'm lighter than I've been in a while.

A rad place to sit where others aren't looking over your shoulder? A spot by an outlet maybe? At Chicago's O'Hare I got to walk through the infamous Sky's The Limit piece by Michael Hayden. The music is by William Kraft. It's not the most original find, everyone has seen this, but at the right time when you're bored as hell. This is like an oasis. I actually like this, and it's a remnant from the 80s! The curvy lines and lighting holds up. The neon though kind of doesn't, but it's cool to ride an escalator under neon art. I think it's the only way I can really digest it.
